From Dark Was The Night Live and dueting with David Byrne to Friday's show with Björk, this is a big week for Dirty Projectors. It's just gotten more sizable with the announcement that there'll be a limited-edition cassette version of their excellent fifth album Bitte Orca (old people are excited, young people are wondering what the fuck a cassette is). That, and the band's supplementing their supporting tour with TV On The Radio (maybe it should be the other way around) with a 12-city headlining tour that launches June 17th in Philadelphia at the First Unitarian Church. Details, including the cassette cover art.![]()
