Some 30,000 people over two days crammed into the six-block area in San Diego's East Village that hosted the 25th annual Street Scene this past weekend. That's a strong number, albeit down from last year when people weren't scrambling for money to put food on their families. Still, those who made it witnessed a righteous lineup featuring Mama Arulpragasam, Wavves (now with 100% more Zach Hill), with both the emergence of Conor Oberst's beard (that's him up there) and the resurrection of Devendra Banhart's.
