In Loney Dear's new video, a masked skateboarder skates between stark city scenes set to songwriter Emil Svanängen's slow, orchestral build. Tone-wise, it's a pretty clean match. It's somewhat reminiscent of that series of videos the Roots put out as their release of undun approached, pitting a silent protagonist against an bleak backdrop. Check out the clip, directed by Ewan Macleod.

Hall Music is out now on Polyvinyl. Previously on Stereogum, we had heard that record's first single "My Heart."
