Alison "VV" Mosshart and Jamie "Hotel" Hince brought their nicknames and quotation marks to 30 Rock last night being for the benefit of Mr. O'Brien. Midnight Boom's chanting "Sour Cherry" came off relatively well and probably won over some young'ns looking for a new fashionable band to adore, although personally we prefer the more subtle smolder of "U.R.A. Fever."
As Fimoculous reminded us last night, it's fun to toggle RedLasso's closed captioning button during music performances (particularly when the lyrics are less obvious than here). Midnight Boom is out via Domino.
