Earlier this year, the gruffly emotive Baton Rouge underground rap star Kevin Gates released the fucking awesome mixtape The Luca Brasi Story, and he’ll follow it up next month with a proper album called Stranger Than Fiction. One of that album’s tracks is “4:30 AM,” a breathless and intense story-song, a form at which Gates excels. Listen to it below.
