In anticipation of their upcoming record The Silver Gymnasium — their first after leaving Jagjaguwar for ATO Records — Austin natives Okkervil River have released another new track from the album. “Stay Young” song bobs along with a synth-heavy and percussive groove, but sports both a saxophone and a harmonica solo, keeping the band’s live-sounding folk-rock roots intact in a curiously successful way. It’s very much a pop song, and pretty catchy at that. Give it a listen below.
