Cults – “I Can Hardly Make You Mine”
New York alt-pop duo Cults recently announced their impending sophomore album Static, and now they’ve shared “I Can Hardly Make You Mine,” the first song from it. It’s a sharp, peppy, very produced piece of work, and its wall-of-digital-sound aesthetic isn’t too different from their first album. But this one has just enough revved-up guitar to remind you that singer Madeline Follin was making records with Dee Dee Ramone when she was a kid. Listen to it below.
Static is out 10/15 on Columbia.
