Watch Atoms For Peace’s Full ACL Make-Up Show
On Sunday, the organizers of Texas’s Austin City Limits festival had to cancel a whole day of music because of a flash flood warning, which meant that people didn’t get to see the National, Phoenix, Tame Impala, or any number of other scheduled acts. One of the bands scheduled was Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace, but they ended up playing a makeup show that night at Austin’s Moody Theater, settling into a long two-encore set that included versions of Radiohead’s “Paperbag Writer” and UNKLE’s “Rabbit In Your Headlights.” Also, Yorke and Flea both appeared to be wearing skirts — as in, not kilts, but actual floor-length skirts. I fully expect Yorke to be pulling the dick-in-sock movie in the next 18 months if he keeps hanging out with Flea. Below, you can watch a professionally-recorded video of the entire show, which starts around the 42-minute mark.
You’ll find the show’s setlist here.
