Seattle trio Big Eyes play razor-sharp power-pop, as violently urgent as it is effortlessly catchy. In Brendan McKnight’s video for “The Sun Still Shines” from the band’s sophomore effort Almost Famous, that violent side comes out. Faces are punched, shots are fired, blood is spilled, and all in all everybody has a wonderful time other than that whole “ending up dead” thing. Watch singer Kate Eldridge break bad below.
