The BBC radio host Zane Lowe, best-known around these parts for the recent epic Kanye West interview, runs a regular segment on his show called Soundclash, where he and a visiting musician or group will face off over a series of songs. It’s pitched as a battle, but of course it’s really more of a mutual music-dorkout. And in the most recent edition, Lowe faces off against Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, who starts his set with Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” and follows it up with stuff like Nancy Sinatra’s “You Only Live Twice” and A$AP Ferg’s “Shabba.” Listen to it here (via Pitchfork); it starts about an hour in.
