Sam Smith – “Nirvana (Harry Fraud Remix)”
We’re starting to see some recent rumblings about artists from Disclosure’s orbit linking up with figures from New York’s rap underground, and that can only be a good thing. Yesterday, we heard “You Stressin’,” a track that Disclosure produced for the New York rapper Bishop Nehru. Today, the great French Montana/Action Bronson producer Harry Fraud has remixed “Nirvana,” a song that Sam Smith, the silky singer from Disclosure’s “Latch,” released last year. Fraud’s version of the song is just as soft and luxurious as the original, but it’s got a dizzy thump of its own. Listen below.
Smith’s debut album In The Lonely Hour is out 5/26 on Capitol.
