100s – “Ten Freaky Hoes”
Back in 2012, the Bay Area rapper 100s released Ice Cold Perm, an absolutely nasty and sorely underrated mixtape full of snarling sex-talk and precise, controlled production. Since then, 100s has signed to Fools Gold, which seems like as good a label as any to help him bring back mostly-extinct strains of West Coast pimp-rap. His new single “Ten Freaky Hoes” riffs on old Too $hort lyrical ideas and hits an extraordinarily pleasurable musical synth-funk sweet spot. Download it below.
