Omarion & Jeremih – “Show Me”
Lately Chicago singer Jeremih has been emerging as one of the most exciting voices in R&B. As Tom noted last week, he’s gone from a B- or C-list loverman crooner to a guy who comfortably slides all over the spectrum from radio-ready hits to internet-friendly experimental stuff. In fact, Jeremih has become one of the figures helping to erase the line between those two polarities. That said, “Show Me,” his new single with peer Omarion, is definitely a pure radio jam. It’s the most traditional thing Jeremih has released for a while — though it’s definitely traditionalism as filtered through Drake — and while it doesn’t feel as zeitgeist-y as we’ve become accustomed to from the guy, it certainly does what it sets out to do. Hear it below.

No word on whether this is a one-off or part of some larger collaboration, though an EP with Omarion after an EP with Shlohmo would certainly be Jeremih covering his bases.
