The annual Pop Vs. Jock celebrity basketball game went down today in Montreal as part of Pop Montreal festivities, and as promised, it featured some all-star halftime festivities involving covers of Phil Collins and the White Stripes. Correspondent Greg Bouchard (who also attended Steve Albini’s cooking class the other day) passed on some footage. Bouchard explains, “What you’re looking at is is Win Butler, Will Butler, Justin Vernon, Regine Chassagne, Nikolai Fraiture, A-Trak, and Kid Koala singing ‘In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins and jamming a little on ‘Seven Nation Army.'” They billed themselves as the POP All Star Band.
