Freddie Gibbs Survives Gun Attack In Brooklyn
Last night, the great Gary, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs played a show at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn record store and venue Rough Trade. After the show, when Gibbs and two others were in a parked SUV, a gunman attacked them, firing multiple shots at the vehicle, as the New York Post reports. The shooter missed Gibbs entirely and wounded two people in his entourage, hitting one in the hand and one in the leg. Neither victim was seriously injured, and both are in stable condition at an area hospital. After the shooting, Gibbs told the Post, “They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me. I’m Still Alive.” Gibbs also posted an Instagram shot to let everyone know he’s OK:
Who would want to kill Freddie Gibbs? Freddie Gibbs is awesome.
