Watch Stephen Malkmus Cover Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” For Portland Kids
While Stephen Malkmus doesn’t seem to care about a Pavement reunion, he does care about making sure a group of kids has the best time possible. And the easiest way to do that? Pull out some Taylor Swift, of course. During an appearance on Portland’s children variety show You Who, Malkmus covered 1989 single “Blank Space” with the Jicks. Malkmus told Rolling Stone last year that his kids were Swift fans, and he also told Billboard that he was trying to channel Swift’s music while writing Wig Out At Jagbags track “Lariat.” Watch his “Blank Space” cover below.
