Best New Party Game: Threats That Would Not Have Been As Good As “Tread Lightly”
Last night’s Breaking Bad ended with (SPOILER) (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) (enough?), as we know, Hank and Walt confronting each other about what each other knows, and what each other knows that each other knows. After Hank tells Walt that one of the things that he knows is that he doesn’t know who he is, Walt tells Hank, “If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly.” REMEMBER?! We just talked about it, like, two seconds ago. It was a classic Walt speech, delivered a bit more gently than classic Walt speeches are usually delivered, and it instantly made me want to MESS IT UP! What if it were worse?! Hahah. That’s fun, right? Taking something good at making it bad? (Breaking it bad.) I’ll go first, and then you can play along!
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to SIT ON IT.
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then let me introduce myself: I’m your brother-in-law, Walt White!
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then why am I in your garage? Do you just let strangers into your garage? You should know better. You’re going to get yourself murdered one day, maybe by me.
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to google image search my face, like they do on Catfish.
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then lead tritely. Ugh, I mean– Aarrrg.
- If that’s true, if you don’t know who I am, then I guess we’re all good here? Cool.
Fuuuuuun! Lots of people think that games can’t be fun, but I think we proved them wrong here today. YOUR TURN!
