Meteorite Crashing In Russia Footage Is, Uh, Not Terrifying At All!
Nope! Definitely not scary just to watch by itself, and for sure not terrifying when you know it has injured around 700 people, and it’s especially dull and I guess I’d say more soothing than anything when you read about how today is the day that the 150-foot-wide asteroid, 2012 DA14, is expected to fly past the earth. CNN talked to Don Yeomans, manager of the Near-Earth Object Program Office at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and he said that “no impact is possible,” and that it’s supposed to stay 17,100 miles from the Earth’s surface, but, haha, who knows! Who cares! Ugh, I’m so bored with all of this! (Via TheWeek.)
