Stream Moon Duo Shadow Of The Sun
Portland’s Moon Duo play fuzzed up psychedelic space-rock, and one half of the group also plays in eternally badass underground psych champions Wooden Shjips. But Moon Duo’s take on the genre is more varied and melodic than most of their peers, and their new album Shadow Of The Sun works in hooks and mood changes while still being an excellent album for lying down on a thick rug and staring up at the ceiling. We’ve already posted the turbocharged “Animal” and the blues-damaged “Slow Down Low.” But the whole album is very much worth your time, and now it’s streaming at NPR.
Shadow Of The Sun is out 3/3 on Sacred Bones.
