Stream Aero Flynn’s Self-Titled Debut Album
Aero Flynn is yet another Justin Vernon-approved project coming out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. And while on the surface, Josh Scott’s new project bears some similarities to the Bon Ivers and Volcano Choirs of the world, he doesn’t come across as another lonely woods rock imitator. Even with the cross-pollination from members of Vernon’s many groups, Aero Flynn stands on their own. After early tracks “Dk/pi,” Twist,” and “Crisp,” Scott forges an even more frosty path on his self-titled full-length: the twinkling, meandering “Floating” or the buried power chords on “Tree” hint at someone with a lot of ideas still left to use. You can listen to the whole album over on The Current.
