Montage Of Heck Will Feature Previously Unheard 12-Minute Kurt Cobain Song
Frances Bean Cobain, Kurt’s daughter, executive produced HBO’s forthcoming Kurt Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck, and we already know that it’ll feature an unreleased Beatles cover. That’s not the only unreleased piece of Cobain’s music that will appear in the movie. As Loudwire points out, Montage Of Heck director Brett Morgen has alluded to an unreleased 12-minute acoustic Cobain song that’ll appear in the movie:
Listening to a mind blowing 12 minute acoustic Cobain unheard track that will be heard on the montage of heck soundtrack. Hello @truefalse

It’s not entirely clear if this will show up on some sort of soundtrack album or if it’ll just be in the movie. Either way, this seems like a good time to get excited.
Elsewhere in the Cobainverse: This isn’t especially new news, but TMZ reports that Courtney Love has her lawyers going after whoever posted “Flacid Bone,” an unreleased Nirvana song that was supposedly stolen from Love via computer hack. “Flacid Bone” is, of course, a fake, something that anyone who’s heard the song could’ve told you. Love wasn’t even hacked, and her lawyer is working with law enforcement to figure out who posted it.
