Black Sabbath’s Big Farewell Show Is Actually An Ozzy Osbourne Solo Gig
Black Sabbath previously promised their fans one final show — but something must have gone haywire since. Instead of the trio reuniting for Ozzfest in Japan, the concert is now being billed as Ozzy Osbourne “and friends.” The band relayed the news in a Facebook post:
Despite previous reports, Black Sabbath will not appear on this year’s Ozzfest Japan, the show will instead feature the festival’s namesake, Ozzy Osbourne (and friends).
The same post was also shared on Ozzy Osbourne’s Facebook page. Considering even the metal group’s ex-drummer Bill Ward was rumored to join, this news is a pretty huge letdown for fans. In light of this news, I wonder whether or not that last album they promised is still in the works? If you have any conspiracy theories regarding the sudden change, share them in the comments.
