Kopecky – “Quarterback” Video
Nashville’s Kopecky will release their sophomore album, Drug For The Modern Age, later this month, and today the band shared a new video for one of their latest singles. “Quarterback” is a song about trying to be the cool dude, the football player, the rich guy, and knowing that you will never ever manage to measure up to that clout. But this is a song about trying really hard to be the absolute best, to win someone over even though you’re sorely lacking all of the features that make for a perfect match. The song’s accompanying video plays with ’70s dating game show aesthetics — watch it, and check out Kopecky’s tour dates below.
