In 2008, Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl started the Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, and though both of the names attached to the project come with an enormous level of celebrity clout, they’ve managed to shirk the spotlight over the years. This is a good thing; by hiding out from the fanfare, GOASTT have kept their particular nostalgic psych-pop alive, unbridled by contemporary trends. The duo released their last full-length album, Midnight Sun, last year on their own label Chimera records, and at the end of the month they will drop a new 10″ titled GOASTT Stories. “India” is its first song preview, a spindly, psychedelic monsoon that’s not of this world.
