It’s sometimes a little weird when ostensibly indie artists team up with brands to model clothes — take DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith doing so for Yves Saint Laurent or the Smith Westerns for Gap — but something’s gotta pay the bills. The latest round of indie modelers comes from Madewell, who partnered with Sharon Van Etten, Kelela, and Lucius to show off its summer collection and promote a new partnership with Spotify.
