Stream Desaparecidos Payola
It’s been 13 years since Desaparecidos, Conor Oberst’s leftist punk rock band, released Read Music / Speak Spanish, their great debut album. Desaparecidos never officially broke up, but they went inactive for many years, only coming back in 2010 to play a few live shows and to release a few great one-off singles. And now they’re fully back with a new album, Payola, that collects those singles, as well as new songs like “City On The Hill.” On Payola, they sound fully charged-up and reengaged, and it might be the best thing Oberst has done in the past decade or so. Stream the whole album below.

Payola is out 6/23 on Epitaph.
