The Dead Weather Announce New Album Dodge & Burn
Jack White and Alison Mosshart’s supergroup side project the Dead Weather have been releasing a string of singles of the past year-and-a-half in the lead-up to their third full-length album. That album’s just been announced — it’s called Dodge & Burn, and was recorded in Nashville during spare moments in White, Mosshart, Queens Of The Stone Age’s Dean Fertita, and Jack Lawrence’s busy schedules. The album will include four previously released songs — “Rough Detective,” “Open Up (That’s Enough),” “It’s Just Too Bad,” and “Buzzkill(er)” — and eight new tracks.
The album will be released in a special limited-edition only available to members of Third Man Records’ Vault subscription series. That edition will include alternate album artwork, a 7-inch single of new songs “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” and “Cop And Go,” and some Dead Weather playing cards.
Dodge & Burn be available worldwide in standard edition in September via Third Man Records as well. Revisit the tracks we’ve heard already below.
