Drake Clowns Meek Mill; Brings Out Kanye, Pharrell, Future At OVO Fest
Drake headlined his own sixth annual OVO Fest in Toronto tonight, and he took the opportunity to go all-in on his recent beef with Meek Mill. Early in the day, Drake was spotted wearing a “Free Meek Mill” t-shirt — which he also wore last year, back when Meek was actually in jail and they were still friends — and he opened his set with Meek diss tracks “Charged Up” and “Back To Back,” projecting a Ken Burns-style slideshow of Meek Mill memes in the background the whole time.
And he teased a new diss track fans are calling “3Peat”:

But the show wasn’t consumed by beef: Drake also trotted out a bunch of huge surprise guests to make the whole thing a massive spectacle. Skepta and Future both made surprise appearances, and then Kanye came out and performed his own 7-song mini-set in the middle of Drake’s set — he even brought a surprise guest of his own along, wilding out with a post-Lollapalooza arrest Travi$ Scott. Big Sean came out to perform “Blessings” live with Drake and Kanye for the first time, and Pharrell was there, too. Even West Philadelphia’s Will Smith was hanging out backstage. Watch fan-shot footage of the whole star-studded performance below.
