Death Cab For Booty: DCFC Apologize For Getting Hacked With Porn Links
Death Cab For Cutie have long made music to soundtrack our heartbreaks, bitter longings, and deeply-felt love, but their discography has remained fairly PG despite its romantic subject matter. That changed last night when the band’s Facebook page fell prey to the inevitable filth of the internet. They band’s page was hacked and filled with links to lascivious porn articles. Not only was it NSFW, it was off-brand for the mild-mannered emo group.
The band quickly realized what had happened and have issued an apology:
DCfC's Facebook was hacked this evening and explicit content was posted to the page. The account is now secure and fans will not be subjected to these kind of posts in the future. Our sincere apologies.

Here’s a few examples of the content that was being posted:
I know Death Cab sings a lot about relationships, but this seems too far. #DeezNuts2016 pic.twitter.com/xoNEdC2XtW

Everything has been scrubbed from the page now. Maybe this is all a clue as to why the glove compartment was inaccurately named? Hey, at least I didn’t make an Ashley Madison joke.
