David Gilmour recently confirmed that Pink Floyd is 100 percent done now that last year’s The Endless River is out in the world. So what is Gilmour doing instead? Apparently, covering the Beatles for MOJO. The retro-fixated UK mag is including Gilmour’s version of Revolver’s “Here, There And Everywhere” with its next issue, which hits newsstands Tuesday. His take on the McCartney ballad is fairly straightforward, but it does bear the slightest trace of that otherworldly prog-rock sheen that became Pink Floyd’s trademark after Syd Barrett left the band.
