Kendrick Lamar To Play With Orchestra At Kennedy Center
Kendrick Lamar will perform with Washington, DC’s National Symphony Orchestra next month (10/20) at the Kennedy Center, according to The Washington Post. The show will rework songs from Lamar’s recent album To Pimp A Butterfly, which seems like a record ripe for an orchestral reimagining. Other artists that have teamed up with the National Symphony in the past year include Nas (for Illmatic) and Phish’s Trey Anastasio.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Wednesday at 10AM EST, and to Kennedy Center members tomorrow. Details here.
