Stream Panda Bear’s 26-Minute Grim Reaper Outtakes Mix, Swallow At The Hollow
Panda Bear’s latest record, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper, already got an outtakes collection of sorts with the Crosswords EP, but it turns out the Animal Collective member has even more where that came from: Today, he’s shared a mix called Swallow At The Hollow made up of “scribbles or doodles” of music that was written around the same period. Here’s how he describes it:
Swallow at the Hollow is a mix of things I made around the same time as all the Grim Reaper tracks. They kind of feel like scribbles or doodles and for some reason or another I couldn’t find my way of singing with them. Some of them just stuck out like sore thumbs. I hope you enjoy them and wanted to say thanks very much for listening and thanks to those of you who came out to see the shows the past couple of years.
Happy Halloween…
PEACE noah
Since Noah Lennox was on the spooky Grim Reaper bandwagon all the way back in January, I can’t even fault him for the gimmicky Halloween-themed release! Seems like he is a true purveyor of spook. Listen to the mix below.
