The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12, the newest massive box set in Bob Dylan’s equally massive series of box sets, is coming out next week. It collects outtakes, rehearsal tracks, and alternate versions of songs from Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde On Blonde, and it comes in a whopping 18-CD collectors edition, a 6-CD deluxe edition, and a much more manageable 2-CD Best Of edition. A number of tracks have already surfaced online, and now NPR is streaming a full-length sampler of tracks from the 6-CD version. Listen below.
