NZCA Lines — the project of London-based Michael Lovett — announced his sophomore record, Infinite Summer, last month with the debut of “Persephone Dreams.” Today, he’s shared a super weird video for that song. It starts off as your typical drunken courtship at an empty bar — boy annoys girl, they end up dancing and heading home together — but things take a turn once they start going at it. She has, like, a black hole in her chest? And she consumes him?? It’s really weird! I did not expect that going in!! More evidence that you should never hook up with anyone ever.
