Benjamin Clementine’s At Least For Now has won the Mercury Prize, awarded annually to Great Britain’s best album. The Ghanian-born pianist and singer-songwriter defeats a field of finalists including Aphex Twin, Florence + The Machine, and Jamie xx. Per The Guardian, he offered these words before inviting all the other nominees on stage with him:

Dunno what to say. Thank you very much. I’d like to thank music. I can’t believe I’ve actually won this… I never thought I would say this. If anyone is watching, any child or youngster or student. The world is your oyster. Go out there and get what you want to get.
