Michael Jackson “Passed Down The Torch” To Aaron Carter, Says Aaron Carter
Remember former teen pop star Aaron Carter? Kid brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter? His career in the music business may have stalled out, but the guy seems to understand the social media business pretty well. Billboard reports that on Sunday, in a now-deleted tweet about the late Michael Jackson, Carter wrote, “Remember one very important thing. Michael passed down the torch to me. I never had to ask for him to do that.” Although the original post is gone, he followed it with many, many more tweets defending his point and referring to a longstanding friendship with the late King Of Pop. Notably, Carter said he and Jackson “really were and still [are] the only ones of our kind.” He also repeatedly referred to Jackson as “Dookie.” Check out the tweet-spree below.
