Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will embark on a North American tour in January to celebrate the release of the The Ties That Bind: The River Collection box set, which is officially out today. The box set includes the remastered double album, which was originally released in 1980, as well as The River: The Single Album, which Springsteen recorded in 1979 but never released. The Ties That Bind: The River Collection also comes with a documentary, coffee table book, and other memorabilia. The tour begins in Pittsburgh on 1/16, and every show of the nine week stretch will be recorded and made available for download or physical purchase on Live.BruceSpringsteen.net.
