According to David Bowie’s will, which was prepared in 2004 and filed yesterday, he wanted his body cremated and his ashes scattered on the Indonesian island of Bali “in accordance with the Buddhist rituals,” the AP reports. The Guardian reports that his family scattered his ashes there following a Buddhist ceremony.

Bowie left half of his $100 million estate and the SoHo home they shared to his widow, Somali supermodel Iman. Their 15-year-old daughter Alexandria received 25% (through a trust) along with his Ulster County mountain home, and director Duncan Jones, his son from a previous marriage, also received 25%.

In addition, Bowie left $2 million and his shares in the company Oppossum Inc. to longtime personal assistant Corinne “Coco” Schwab, and he left $1 million to Alexandria’s nanny, Marion Skene.
