Lady Gaga Will Sing David Bowie Medley At The Grammys
Lady Gaga will pay tribute to the late, great David Bowie by performing a medley of his songs during the Grammys. According to a press release, Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich said that Gaga was already booked to perform during the award show before it was announced that Bowie passed last month. According to Ehrlich, other artists were considered for the tribute, but he was married to the idea of having Gaga perform solo. The Bowie tribute will not open the show, but is likely to last six or seven minutes, Ehrlich said. Somewhat relatedly, Bernie Sanders played “Starman” to close out his post-caucus speech in Iowa last night.
The Grammys air 2/15 at 8/7c on CBS.
