Stream Mind Spiders Prosthesis
The Texan band Mind Spiders play a loud, raw, nasty, spiky version of psych-rock. Their take on the genre is fast and merciless, with stabs of synth and two drummers’ worth of propulsive clatter. If you wish today’s garage rock and space rock were a bit meaner, you would do well to check out their new album Prosthesis, which comes out next week. We’ve posted the early tracks “Cold” and “Running,” but the whole album is a lean and nasty 27 minutes, so there’s no excuse for not checking the entire thing out, especially now that NPR has it streaming. Check the album out below.
Prosthesis is out 3/11 on Dirtnap Records.
