Watch New Order Play “Singularity” On Colbert
It’s crazy to think that UK synthpop originators New Order are still operating, that they’re now just another band on festival bills and on the late-night circuit. But they are, after all, still cranking out new music; last year, they came out with their comeback album Music Complete. And last night, they were on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, playing their most recent single “Singularity” while screen behind them flashed images from the song’s video. Maybe it wasn’t the most exciting thing in the world, and maybe everyone there would’ve rather heard “Bizarre Love Triangle.” But they’ve earned it, you know? Watch the video below.
Music Complete is out now on Mute.
