Stream Black Mountain IV
Nobody does bleary-eyed, Sabbath-damaged psych-rock like the Vancouver-bred band Black Mountain, who have been in the game for more than a decade now and who have relocated to Los Angeles. Next week, Black Mountain will release IV, their first proper album since 2010’s Wilderness Heart, and it’s a total monster. IV has screaming guitar solos and mournful organs and icy vintage synths and nine-minute songs, and it just sounds enormous. We’ve posted the band’s videos for “Mothers Of The Sun” and “Florian Saucer Attack,” and now you can stream the whole album below, via NPR.
IV is out 4/1 on Jagjaguwar.
