N.W.A Will Not Perform At Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction
N.W.A were announced as inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last winter, soon after which, Ice Cube started teasing an N.W.A reunion tour kicking off at Coachella, so rumors had been floating around that the band would perform at the HOF induction ceremony. But Ice Cube confirmed to The New York Times that no such thing would occur, after all. Cube hinted at a disagreement with the organizers of the ceremony that wouldn’t allow them to give their best performance. He also confirmed that all members would be attending (minus Eazy-E, RIP) “as it stands now,” and that N.W.A’s ex-manager Jerry Heller can still kiss his ass. Kendrick Lamar is still set to induct them as well. Read the interview in its entirety here.
