Radiohead Manager Says LP9 Out In June, Like Nothing You’ve Ever Heard
Radiohead’s manager Brian Message was interviewed at Wanstead Pub in London today, and during the conversation he stated that the band’s new album is due out in June. Reddit users pointed out the following tweet soon after it went up earlier today:

Radiohead will embark on a world tour in May; stay tuned for more info on LP9.
UPDATE: According to The Guardian, Message also said the album is “something that will probably make many of us go, ‘Wow!'” … “There’s nothing out there right now that sounds anything like this. And for some people that will be a good thing and for others that probably won’t.”
As for how it will be released? “I really hope – it does come out on streaming services,” he said. “To say that’s been answered, believe me it hasn’t, but I’m praying every night that it does.”
He discussed Radiohead’s efforts to stop scalpers as well: “You can try to limit the secondary ticketing market as much as we have, but the next step is you only being able to buy one ticket per transaction. And that’d probably be a bit of a lonely, strange gig: 3,000 singles, all in the same room, all mostly men. It’d be a bit weird.”
UPDATE 2: Radiohead’s publicist has issued a statement indicating that Message is not Radiohead’s manager and his statements about the upcoming album should not be attributed to Radiohead or their management. Message is a partner in Courtyard Management but has no operational involvement with Radiohead. Read the full statement below.
