Watch Taylor Swift Answer 73 Questions
Seventy-three questions with Taylor Swift — a premise that will excite many and strike fear in the hearts of some. Swift invited Vogue into her Beverly Hills home for a rapid-fire interview as part of the hubbub surrounding her cover for the magazine, which also included an incredibly puffy profile in which the biggest takeaway was that Swift knows how to make an Old Fashioned. The video is a bit more illuminating if you’re a Swift fan (though there’s plenty of fodder for the haters in here too), and while it’s pretty obvious all of these questions were screened and had answers prepared in advance, there’s still some worthwhile exchanges. Some highlights:
“What’s one thing you still have from your childhood?” “My insecurities.”
“What are you completely bored of right now?” “Clickbait.”
“What’s the first song you learned to play on the guitar?” “‘Kiss Me’ by Sixpence None The Richer”
“What’s one song you wish you had written?” “The Friends theme song because of those royalties.”
“What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to do?” “Coachella.” (Mission accomplished!)
“What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?” “Writing the Apple Music letter.”
“What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?” “Writing the Apple Music letter.”
“What advice would you give to anyone who wants to become a singer?” “Get a good lawyer.”
