Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner recently revived the Last Shadow Puppets, his side-project duo with his reporter-harassing buddy Miles Kane. And while nobody seems to like their new album Everything You’ve Come To Expect as much as The Age Of Understatement, their beloved 2008 debut, it’s hard to pass up any opportunity to see Turner in full rock-star mode. Last night, during the week between the two Coachella weekends, the band appeared on their fellow Brit James Corden’s Late Late Show. They played the album track “Miracle Aligner” with an expansive backing band and a full string section. And Turner, it must be noted, wears rumpled lounge-lizard clothes very, very well.
