Nicki Minaj Clowned The Vice President Again, This Time To His Wife’s Face
There was a weird little episode last year where Nicki Minaj accidentally dissed Vice President Joe Biden in the wake of his son Beau’s death. Nicki had been Twitter-feuding with the veteran underground rapper Joe Budden. And when some confused person tweeted about how Joe Biden shouldn’t be bothering to get into Twitter beef so soon after his son’s death, Nicki faved (and then quickly unfaved) the tweet. Since that story got out — and all the goofy-ass details are here — you’d think that might make her skittish around Joe Biden and his family. You’d be wrong.
Recently, Time named Nicki one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Last night, the magazine held its annual Time 100 gala, which meant Nicki was performing in front of many of the other 99 most influential people. (She wore what you see above.) And before she did her deeply horny song “Anaconda,” she dedicated the track to both Donald Trump and Biden. Trump wasn’t at the party, though he’d made an appearance earlier in the evening. Biden wasn’t there, either, but his wife Jill reportedly was.
According the The Hollywood Reporter, Nicki introduced the song by saying, “I’m very political, and I would like to dedicate a song, just in the spirit of unity, to Joe Biden and Donald Trump.” During the song, she switched out some lyrics, so that the first verse was about Trump and the second — the “I let him hit it cuz he slang cocaine” one — was about Biden. After the song, she said, “Do you think they like that song? Who do you think likes the biggest butts, Donald Trump or Joe Biden?”
