Buy Weezer Vinyl Reissue, Get Pinkerton-Inspired Sake Cocktail Recipe
Weezer’s initially-despised 1996 masterpiece Pinkerton turns 20 later this year, and I cannot wait to write about it. My colleague Tom Breihan already took a crack, providing extensive liner notes for a new vinyl reissue. Pinkerton is available as Record Of The Month at Vinyl Me Please, where, in addition to the album on blue and black marble vinyl, you get a lyric sheet, a gatefold with pop-out art, and a 12×12 original art print by Japanese painter Fuco Ueda. But wait, there’s more! The package also includes a sake cocktail recipe inspired by Pinkerton’s music and artwork. It’s available here if you sign up for Vinyl Me Please’s Record Of The Month club before 5/15.
