Angel Du$t – “Toxic Boombox” Video
The Baltimore hardcore supergroup Angel Du$t, which includes members of bands like Trapped Under Ice and Turnstile, has a fun, tuneful, unserious approach to its genre. Angel Du$t’s new album Rock The Fuck On Forever is coming out next month, and we’ve posted their songs “Stay” and “Upside Down.” While both of those were surprisingly melodic, the 90-second banger “Toxic Boombox” is more of an old-school chug. Even with this song, though, there are weird bits; the mosh-part breakdown, for instance, is a psychedelic guitar excursion. The song’s video, from director Dani David-Spickermann, is a bright cartoon collage of rock tropes. Check it out below, via Noisey.
