Kesha will now be able to perform at this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards as originally planned. Her performance was previously blocked by Dr. Luke’s label Kemosabe Records due to a TMZ report that speculated she would directly address her ongoing legal battle with the producer, but after Kesha said she would only be performing a cover of Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe” (which she brought out during a Ben Folds concert last night), Kemosabe Records has restored their prior approval. Here’s the statement the label sent out:

Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation. Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored.
